Military Day at the Fair, Sponsored by 92.3 WCOL!

Help us salute our troops on Military Appreciation Day at the Franklin County Fair, Thursday, July 21. Active military and veterans receive free admission with official government ID. Military guests can also obtain a single day ride wristband with official ID (non-transferable) from Bates Entertainment wherever ride tickets are sold.Sponsored by 92.3 WCOL, the day will include live music, special performances and military displays to honor those in service to our country. Entertainment sponsored by Memorial VFW Post 4931.Schedule of Events:11:30-Noon, Magic of David Anthony special military performance2-6pm, Franklin County Recorder's office will have a Veteran ID Station available. Participants are asked to bring their Veteran DD-214 Discharge form. Cards will be printed and mailed next day.4-6:30pm, Musical entertainment by Driving Guitars. All three musicians are founding members of The Danger Brothers. Performances are spirited, light and entertaining!6:30pm, Colors will be presented in the Grandstand ahead of the Truck and Tractor Pull.MASH Pantry will be on the gounds all day hosting an activity station to decorate Veteran Honor Bags.
